From classroom to community
As a 20-year veteran teacher with an Early Childhood education degree and a Montessori 3-6 credential, our founder's journey began with a desire to share a deep passion for music and movement beyond the traditional classroom setting. Music In Motion was born from this vision, an idea designed to bring engaging music and movement experiences to children, regardless of school enrollment, and as a special focus for summer enrichment programs in Urbana, Ohio.

What truly ignites our passion at Music In Motion is the boundless joy, excitement, and energy that children bring to every session. We thrive on their laughter and their determined spirit to learn new things, whether it's mastering a new rhythm, exploring gross motor movements, or finding stillness in a yoga pose. Teaching music, movement, and yoga to little ones is a privilege filled with inspiring moments and incredible growth.

Our greatest hope for children and their families joining Music In Motion is to foster a shared love for music and movement. We want families to enjoy spending quality time together, appreciating the melodies and rhythms, and witnessing their children thrive. Watching little ones grow, explore, and discover new abilities within our music and movement activities is incredibly rewarding, building strong bonds and confident learners.
